To keep the progress going strong, Stars Cricket Club registered themselves as an 'Associations sans but lucratif' (ASBL) in 2018, with a vision to assist Luxembourg Cricket Federation to identify and acquire a second new cricket ground in Luxembourg and take the load away from the only cricket facility operated by the Optimists Cricket Club at Walferdange.
OUR MISSION & VISION
Our mission is to build a playing philosophy at Star Cricket that can be easily identified from our top
players all the way through our women and junior sections. While maintaining a strong emphasis on the traditions of
the game and moving with the times regarding the way we approach the game. We would
like to ensure that we carry ourselves in a manner that is acceptable, in the spirit of the game and hold ourselves to a higher
standard in the way that we train, play and handle ourselves on and off the field.
A sports club should firstly be a “family”
A sports club should firstly be a “family” and though the ethos of culture is slowly being sucked out of the game in this professional era, we strive to do all that we can so as not to lose that identity and the connectivity with all of our members.
